Mike McCabe
is the Assistant Principal responsible for Student and
Customer Services at
Dudley
College
. In addition to responsibility for areas such as Student
Services, Research and Development, Teaching
Aids/Reprographics, Telecommunications and Reception areas,
Mike is also the Chair of a number of College Committees such
Support for Students and the Environmental Committee.
Mike also
has a number of External involvements which are related to
supporting Young people and Learners in a variety of settings.
He is Chair of the Black Country Colleges’ Connexions group.
He is a Director of the WHAT centre in Stourbridge (a
specialist Help and Advice Centre for Young People) and is a
member of a wide range of groups such as: Dudley Borough’s
Local Management Committee for Connexions; Dudley Borough’s
Transport Partnership for post-16 Travel; The Black Country
Engaging Young People Steering Group and until recently was a
member of the Environmental Association for Universities and
Colleges’ National Steering Group.
Mike is
always eager to hear Student views as to how the College can
improve its Services to Learners and works closely with Steve
Williams, Steve Cox and the SU Executive.
